I hope that the songs on this album will be a blessing to you and that they will serve as a reminder or an introduction to the love and power of our wonderful God. Remember that just as a photograph of beutiful mountains or a newborn baby can bring tears of joy and longings in your heart, it can never be as good as the real experience. So it is with these songs. They will never be as good as experiencing the presence and love of God for yourself.

Dustin Donald Treiber was born October, 9th, 1981 and grew up in the small town of St. Paul, KS. He always enjoyed the country life of being outdoors and working on his grandparents’ farm. At the age of ten, he began playing guitar and learning his favorite Garth Brooks songs. In high school, he played the guitar and sang with the Catholic Youth Organization’s choir on CYO Sundays during mass. To this day he still makes time to play for church and hometown events.
After graduating high school in 2000, Dustin attended college at Pittsburg State University, in Pittsburg, KS. During this time, he began writing songs in his spare time. His goal, when writing, was to always create something totally different than the last song. The result was music ranging from funny drinking songs, to emotional ballads, to energetic Christian music. Dustin gained a small loyal fan base at the college and home. After graduating PSU with a degree in graphics, Dustin married his girlfriend of four years, Sarah, and began a job at a radio station, working on station graphics, commercial writing and audio production.
In 2006, Dustin was very lucky and very blessed to win a recording session in Nashville, TN from a songwriters workshop he attended. In March of 2007, he cashed in his winning session and recorded ten of his best songs on his cd entitled, Dustin Treiber “Encounter”. He now works part-time as an evening DJ for Hot Country 96.9 “The KOW” in Pittsburg, KS. He goes by the name, “DDT”. Dustin “DDT” Treiber knows that if it is God’s will, he will one day make it, performing the music he loves. You can visit him at myspace.com/dustindonaldtreiber
